Did you notice that spray bottles work well only when the end of the suction tube is submerged in the liquid? So, if you hold the bottle in a tilted or horizontal position, a sprayer might not work. How do you make a spray bottle that works in any orientation?
This DIY life hack will change that. Jason Poel Smith, a self-described “Inventor, Maker, Hacker, Tinker, and occasional Mad Genius” from instructables.com figured out a simple modification that will let a spray bottle function in any orientation. Cleaning is going to be easier.
In the video, you will see a step-by-step instructions on how to modify a bottle, so it will work in any direction:
- Twist off the top
- Cut the hard plastic tube 1/2 inch from the top
- Overlay a flexible plastic tube
- Weigh down the flexible tube with metal nuts
I wish I could come up with this brilliant DYI myself…
